MY THOUGHTS
One man, two different men at the same time. Leopold Graham loved pursuing his pleasure and that pleasure being in the sheets. The other side of this man was being an earl in public. Being behind closed doors was a different story. But things changed when his father died. His father left enormous debts and now it's up to Leopold to save the entire family. How will he do that/ Well, there's those closed doors and he's looking for a prim and proper woman to marry. She needs to be easy on the eyes and above all, WEALTHY!. Up to now, you can get it. He's an earl in the public eye and behind those closed doors, he's a rogue. But he's looking to marry for money to save his family's estate, not love. He meets Ivy, but Ivy isn't quite what Leopold is looking for. Ivy isn't quite the prim and proper wealthy woman. She's not about to sit back while a man controls everything. So now we have any earl who is looking for a wealthy woman to marry and we have a gypsy spirited Ivy. Will the two find a meeting ground? And will that meeting ground be behind closed doors? Will they find more than that, perhaps love?
The author gives spice and yet the possibility of two people turning their lives around and finding love, not for wealth, not for what can happen behind those closed doors, but LOVE! Written well with good descriptions that you can picture Leopold, dressed with the white crisp shirt, the gold watch hanging from the chain, with those handsome looks that catch a lady's eye. Then we have Ivy. You can picture her, a stubborn, strong willed with the spirit of her gypsy background. You can even picture her with gold hoop earrings and the peasant dress. Then the author lets you use your imagination even more. Think! What is happening behind those closed doors?
I received a copy of this book from the author and Night Owl Reviews and voluntarily decided to review it.
I would give this book 4.5 STARS.
