When he receives an ambiguous message sent from a man long since dead, Alex learns that the only way to win his battle against The New Reality is to defeat a long-forgotten enemy nearly 2,500 years old.

This action-packed novel brilliantly weaves together ancient Greece with a disturbing future, carrying with it a warning for us all.

MY THOUGHTS
Although this is the second book in the series, it can be read as a stand alone. The first book was The New Reality.   The New Reality has control over the New World's nations. As Alex tries to unravel this New World, he finds that he has issues of his own to deal with.  These things have been eating away at him for some time. They have to do with his heritage. He discovers that in his battle against The New Reality he also has another battle to deal with.  A 2500 year old battle. This is the journey into the future.
Can you imagine going 70 years into the future? What would it be like? In this book you get a mix of the past and the future. The book is filled with twists and turns.  I had a problem with the book. It was a bit confusing to me. Seemed like it went all over the place between people and times.  I think I'll wait awhile and read again.  But before you start this book, open your mind, use your imagination and then read.
I did like how it took the reader back to ancient Greece.  The rapid advancements from then until now is amazing.  But sometimes advancements aren't a good thing.  Sometimes they can be dangerous.  I believe if I'd read the first book before this one, it might make more sense. The first book introduces you to the characters and what starts the whole plot into the second book.  Try this book and see how you feel as you follow Alex's journey for answers to the New World Order.
Remember this could be a warning for us all.   Seventy years into the future, who knows what that could bring.  Think about it.

I received a copy of this book from the author and voluntarily decided to review it.

I would give this book 4 STARS.
