To protect his family, Nathaniel dares not breath a word of the truth. But as long as the shadow looms over him, he’ll never be free to find his own way in the world. He’ll never be free to fall in love.

REVIEW
Ms. Ladd has written a beautiful story with a plot and characters that you can't help but love. Cecily Faire is so beautiful but has been subjected to her father's cruel treatment. She was forced to leave her home and the sister that she so loved. This lovely young girl was separated from the one she loved. She went to a finishing school and graduated. She then became a lady's companion. When she arrived at Willowgrove Hall it was in the middle of a terrible storm. When she arrived she ran directly into the young steward''s Nathaniel Stanton will she was trying to get to Willowgrove during the storm. She was walking with her head up.She began a friendship between Mrs. Stanton and her three daughters. But trouble erupts when it is found out that the secret is still alive. The story is a lovely story, sad at times, but filled with wonderful descriptions of the scenery and the characters. The author wrote the character's relationships in a way that made you feel they were real. This is a book that you will find hard to let go. I also found the cover to be absolutely exquisite.
I received a complimentary copy of A LADY OF WILLOWGROVE HALL by Sarah E. Ladd and Litfuse Publicity for my view of the book. No other compensation took place.
I would give this book 5 STARS.
