AUTHOR

Gary Melhart recently moved to Southwest Florida. It was love at first sight. This book of poems, his first, tells how it affected him and changed his life. He grew up in West Texas and lived in Chicago for a number of years before moving to this "paradise by the sea."

REVIEW

This book is the author's joy of living in a new place. He believes this is truly his paradise found. I believe the author found a serenity and a calmness in the days being the same day after day. It was something you could depend on. there isn't too much these days that one can actually depend on.

The author was so in life with his paradise that he wrote it in verse. The verses are well written with a little rhyming in the right places. They are not complicated verses where you have to put a lot of thinking into what the author was trying to say. They are quite easy to understand. They are not deep verses. They are simply a few little lines abort life and the beauty therein. The author, I believe wrote this not only for himself but for all the readers who are looking for a little remembrance of our lives as we age. We all are looking for peace and love of those around us. We just pass the days hoping that they are pleasant and happy.

I would recommend this book to anyone who hopes for at least a few days at a time. Poetry or verse and be so relaxing and calming. If you love verse, please read this book. It is wonderful. There's something for everyone.
