Bravely they dig until they find the best treasure ever! This time the mateys of the Flying Dragon are threatened by a serious looking set of storm clouds.  While the friends gobble their sandwiches,k the storm comes to a head and everyone has to bail out.  Since they were forewarned, they are forearmed and are able to get through the storm in ship-shape.  When the dust settles, the Captain leads his crew to Snake Island in search of buried treasure.  As X marks the spot, the crew starts digging until a solid thud stops the excavation.  SO what's in the treasure box?  Read and find out.

REVIEW
Another wonderful children's book by Carole P. Roman .  This one is another book in the Captain No Beard's Series.  THE TREASURE OF SNAKE ISLAND is the 5th book in this series.  As the reader follows Captain No Beard and his crew they  will fight fear and loss to overcome anyone that is out to hurt them.   In this book, the crew learns about facing their fears one at a time.  As a storm is on the horizon, Polly the Parrot tells the tale about all the things she learns by reading.
The books that Ms. Roman writes are fun, exciting and there are always things to be learned. I have to say, I really enjoy reading them and I'm far from being a youngster.  The  books are  meant to be read by everyone.  A person is never too old to let go and become a young reader.  These books allow the imagination to go free.  You, the reader can follow Captain No Beard through all kinds of adventures and never get bored.
Grab copies of some of Ms. Roman's books and let children you know and others go on adventures with Captain No Beard.  You'll have a fun time.

I was given a complimentary copy of THE TREASURE OF SNAKE ISLAND from the author, Carole P. Roman for my view of the book.  No other compensation took place.

I would give this book 5 PIRATE KNOTS.
