REVIEW
This children's book will definitely catch the interest of children and adults of all ages.  It's not just a children's book.  Adults can enjoy it too. This is a charming little book that tells about real friendship and when to take chances and when not to.This  book  is about four dogs and their adventures. The book is written at a level that young ones can understand and follow. Kurt, Gert and Jazmine are three beagles who would romp and play together.  But when the weather turns cold, Jazmine has no one to play with.  Jazmine meets Bagel and they become friends, almost inseparable. On an extremely cold day Bagel asks Jazmine is she would like to go with him to a warmer climate.    They will soon not think about what they have or don't have.Kurt and Gert hear all about Bagel, Jazmine's new friend.   Her two friends, Kurt and Gert find out how jealous she was of them.  She was afraid she would lose Kurt and Gert and now of losing Bagel too.  She really wants to go with Bagel but is afraid. She soon learns that friendship, true friendship remains no matter where you are.
The author did an unusual thing, but very helpful for young readers.  She has phonics pronunciations included, that definitely help young readers to pronounce the words. I feel that this book, not only being a fun, adventurous read, it is a teaching tool.  It teaches about friendship, trust and learning to take risks at the right time.  The book has some really cute illustrations done by Richa Kinra and the cover art done by S. Munoz.  Another nice thing abut the book is the cover can be wiped off with a damp rag.  Those little hands can get really sticky. the book contains no profanity, nothing to scare little ones and no violence.  It's just a good, clean, teaching and fun children's book.

I would give this book 4 PAWS.

I received a complimentary copy of KURT,GERT, JAZMINE, and BAGEL from the author Irene Dolnick and Outskirts Press for my personal opinion.  I received no other compensation.
