 MY THOUGHTS
Nightmares plague Connie Lacey every day.   In her nightmares she is being chased  and hunted by a stalker.  She stays secluded, alone.  She tries to stay safe but when there are nightmares stalking you, hidden secrets and desires that you can't fill, can she ever be safe?  She gets a tempting offer from Sylvester de Leon who has a private island, Corazon.  He's a billionaire and he's invited her to stay with him for a month on the island.    But she gets a foreboding feeling whens she looks into his deep blue eyes.  She feels nothing about him or the gorgeous island is safe.    Corazon has so many hidden secrets, dangerous secrets and Connie is about to enter that world.  Something about Sylvester and the island is wrong. But Connie is drawn to Sylvester, like a craving that needs fulfilling and Sylvester can do that.   What is it about the island and Sylvester?  Connie is drawn to him and yet she feels something is really wrong.  She isn't safe.   Going to a beautiful island which is private along with a good looking man should put her at ease and she should feel safer than before, but she doesn't.  Is it her imagination or is there something dangerous and sinister about Sylvester and his island.   Were her dreams of being stalked, perhaps, a warning!   Could the dreams in any way have something to do with Sylvester and the island?
The author immediately has you caring for Connie.  She feels alone and in danger.  She is tormented by her nightmares.  When Sylvester asks her to go away with him to his island, you're thinking, now she'll be able to relax and feel safe.  That's the direction the author leads you and then you turn a page and the direction changes.  There were many twists and turns in this story.  The author kept you on the edge with the doubts about Sylvester and the island.   You are constantly thinking how do her nightmares and Sylvester mesh together.
Why does Connie get the feeling that she has been on the island before?      You're left with the question, Who is the immortal billionaire and how does it connect with Connie?
The characters were well defined and interesting. If you like stories about reincarnation than read this one. You may find it interesting.  You get a little suspense, a little romance and the supernatural tossed in as icing. I was really into the book until I was headed for the ending.   What was that all about?  To me it didn't make sense.  I can't tell you what happened but I felt it just wasn't the right ending for a story that went so well for most of the book.  I was rather disappointed with the ending.   Read it and see what you think.  Everyone gets something different from a book.
I received a copy of this book from the author and PUYB and voluntarily decided to review it.

I would give this book  3 STARS.
