MY THOUGHTS
Returning home always seems like the answer to so many problems, but that's not always the case.  When Dr Shelby Wentworth has burned out and put her broken heart on the back burner, she decides to go home.   She's been through a bad divorce, her career is over an she hopes that back home she can start over.   She has placed one rule to abide by, 'don't get your honey where you get your money'.  Sounds like sound advice. But can Shelby abide by it.   She was until.... she actually runs into an old high school crush.  I actually mean she ran into him in the parking lot.   This isn't going to be good.  It makes Shelby rethink her whole plan of coming home and that one cardinal rule of hers.  Now her old flame, Nash Taylor has had his own problems, a bad divorce and the ending of his NFL quarterback career.   An injury put him out of that career.  So  he, too, heads home to start over as the coach of the Bobcats.  His heart is on hold too.  But after the incident in the parking lot, he begins to rethink about his heart being on hold.  Maybe it's time to put it out there on the line again.  So the two of them pair together for Nash's hope to win a division championship.   Shelby is working the numbers for Nash.  He thought that might help her self confidence.  The whole thing backfires.  Shelby now is in the same place or worse than when she came home.  What's going to happen to Nash and Shelby now?  Will Shelby run away from these new problems or will she stay and fight?   Will Nash go on to win the championship and Shelby's heart?   The author gives a story that is very realistic.   Ever have an old flame come back into your life?   Have you ever gone back home after your life is in shatters?  The characters are believable and the situations they get in and out of could very much be possible.   It happens all the time.  You want Shelby and Nash to get together, not just as friends, but as two people in love.   But can and will that happen?   You will have to pick up a copy of this book and don't forget the first book, Romancing Dr. Love. They are stand alones but so much better if read in order.   Perhaps and hopefully there will be a book three.  That is, if Shelby and Nash find their hearts and interlock them.

Don't miss out on these two books.  Great reads for the beach or if it's still chilly, a good read for a chilly, cool night.

I received a copy of this book from the author and voluntarily decided to review it.

I would give this book 4 STARS.
