MY THOUGHTS
Ted Bundy was your all American, clean cut, good looking, with a promising future kind of guy, until? What happened to Ted Bundy? What drove him over the edge and why? Through the years Ted Bundy's appearance changed so often. It was like he was a man of many faces. Girls were disappearing with no trace. No one was hearing, seeing or seeing but not sure of what they saw. This book, though the crimes were long ago, will make you check your doors and windows at night. You'll be leary of walking alone at night and even in the daytime. The author, Ann Rule, didn't ice this serial killer. It is hard cold facts. Ted Bundy was long ago executed, in 1989, but there are others out there like him or even worse. The author met and befriended Ted Bundy when they worked together in a crisis clinic. She trusted and valued his friendship. Does it make you wonder about someone you may have met and befriended? It happens you know. The author gives you details on the girls and she does so with utter respect for the family and friends of the victims. Young women in the prime of their lives and some who hadn't even reached that point, were savagely and brutally murdered. Ann Rule was to live the nightmare over and over again. Knowing the killer, but as a friend, more like a brother than the savage he was. Serial killers: what makes them start killing and keep killing? SO many have such a good future ahead of them. Wht makes the mind go over the edge? Just remember, be careful, be cautious, because anther Ted Bundy is out there.
