MY THOUGHTS
Learning is fun for the young and not so young, but young at hear. Ms. Roman has given us a series of books about how others live in different cultures. This book is about the China era known as "Han Dynasty". Some believe this was Chinese history's greatest era. You get to know about the way they dress, their food, houses, the way the family lives and so many things of the day to day life in Ancient China. Along with the story are some very colorful pictures that will attract the young one's attention. You get to know about the Chinese calendar and important people from that time. You are introduced to the four major professions and what kinds of toys the children played with. Very fascinating and so much to learn in a fun way. Another wonderful book to add to your child's bookshelf or yours. At the end is a glossary with explanations and pronunciations.
