Travel with your young ones or alone into another world.  Ms. Roman has given us another book on a different period in history.   This book isn't just for children, grown ups can learn a lot too.   This new series is about the Middle Ages and gives you a lot of information on the people back in Medieval England.   Their clothes, the food they ate and the things they did.  The reader gets to join a family of a knight and their servants.  You get to see the side of the wealthy knight and family and also the side of the less wealthy.  Ms. Roman also tells of the church and how they served in the church.
Brief notes on famous people back in the Medieval Ages is  at the back of the book.   Listed are such people as Joan of Arc and William the Conqueror.  It lists details such as dates lived and pronunciation of their names.   There is also a glossary of terms that may be difficult or unknown to the reader.
Take the journey back to the Middle Ages and while learning, enjoy.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author, Carole P. Roman, in exchange for my unbiased and honest review.

I  would give this book 5 STARS.
