She has two highly successful series and is launching this new exciting series about civilizations throughout time. While she is still working in her family business, this has enabled her to share her sense of humor as well as love for history and culture with the audience she adores. Roman lives on Long Island with her husband and near her children.

REVIEW
Great new series from Carole P. Roman. This
book is not just for children but adults will love it too. It contains
some interesting information in it. As you read to your young ones ,
you'll find it's interesting and very informative while still fun. The
history lessons can be a learning project in this series, An
Introduction to Civilizations Throughout Time. This is Volume 3 and it
show different cultures of the past in the world. I have reviewed quite
a bit for Ms. Roman and I love everything I have reviewed. It's sad
that children are not taught the history that we not so young, were
taught. We need more of these kind of books to teach children in an
interesting and fun way. This book not only tells about the way the
people live, what they eat and so much more. Things that are fact and
yet maybe things we didn't know. Things were not all cake and punch
back then. Things were hard. Often living conditions, food, the
strictness of the law and so much more were bad. Disease was prominent
and people still had to make a go of it. This is told in an honest and
yet, easy way for children to understand. At the back of the book is a
glossary of words and terms that were used back then. There is also a
list of important people that lived back then. The artwork done is very
vibrant, colorful and interesting showing what the pages talk about. A
great way for spending some history learning time together with you
child or grandchild.
I received this complimentary copy of this book from the author, Carole P. Roman in exchange for my unbiased review. No other compensation took place.
I would give this book 5 STARS.
