REVIEW
Date: November 1990.  Four pregnant women go to Rebekah Schlaback's home to prepare for delivery.  Rebekah is a midwife in North Star, Pennsylvania.  Meanwhile a storm is brewing.  This book is about the four babies that Rebekah delivered and what their lives are like 25 years after.     MORNING STAR which was written by Amanda Flower is about one of the little girls. Eden Hochstetler moved to Sugar Creek, Ohio with her family.  She helps her father in his shop where he sells candy. Eden and her friend, Gina investigate one of her best friend's death. Will they uncover what really happened?      IN THE STARS by Cindy Woodsmall is the story of Savilla Beiler, the third girl.  She stayed in the area and helps Rebekah with birthing babies. Find out what keeps Savilla from being with her love.        STAR OF GRACE by author, Mindy Starns Clark and co-authored by Emily Clark is about the little boy that was born. His name is Andy Danner.   He leaves Lancaster County to work construction on the Mississippi. Why did he leave Lancaster County? Katie
Ganshert wrote Guiding Star.    GUIDING STAR is about  another one of the babies. A little girl went with her mother, Ruth, 2 days after her birth. Anna was finally found in Gary, Indiana.  She had been left on Christmas Eve, 1990 on the steps of a home. She is adopted and brought up by a loving couple after being in foster care.  Find out what she is called now. These authors wrote four wonderful, interesting and relateable stories.  The book was a fast read which kept the reader from putting the book down.  The stories contain heartbreak and sadness but doesn't real life? Find out what all four babies do to give back after that night they were born in that raging storm.  I would suggest everyone to pick up this book for Christmas.  What is more suitable at Christmas  than stories about babies?  Don't let this book pass you by.

"I received this book, AMISH CHRISTMAS at North Star from Blogging for Books for my unbiased view of the book."
I would give this book 5 STARS.
