REVIEW
I usually don't buy books about making of films and television but I just couldn't resist this one. It is one of the best and will stay on my shelf so it can be read again and again. It has lots of great pictures, sketches, shots of locations, interviews, profiles and the process of thought around some of the plot lines and the fit in the "Hannibal" books. There is a lot of the various deaths of the 'ripper' victims and I can't imagine the work and talent that is behind the ideas and the work it took to make some of the most non forgettable Fates that some were up against. I keep thinking of the body totem pole on the beach. At times this book is not for the faint of heart. It is not a quick read . Experts and enthusiasts of the show worked so much time and put so much effort in this book. The pictures of the cast look like they are having a blast. This is truly a gift for "Hannibal' fans. A fun read, read, read and then read some more.
I was given a complimentary copy of THE ART AND MAKING OF HANNIBAL from the author, Jesse McLean and Night Owl Reviews for my view of this book.
I would give this book 5 STARS.
