When murder strikes the small town of Tallulah Falls, embroidery shop owner Marcy Singer isn’t afraid of getting down to the knitty-gritty to clear her name.... For most small-business owners in Tallulah Falls, the upcoming Renaissance Faire is a wonderful way to promote their specialty shops. For Marcy’s nemesis, Nellie, and her sister, Clara, it’s an opportunity to finally put Marcy and her shop, the Seven-Year Stitch, out of business. Apparently the sisters like to make grudges a family affair and have set up competing booths right next to Marcy’s at the Ren Faire. When Clara is discovered dead in her own booth—strangled by the scarf she had almost finished knitting—Marcy becomes the prime suspect. Now she has to do whatever it takes to keep her reputation from unraveling—and get to the bottom of a most deadly yarn....

REVIEW
WICKED STITCH is a well written cozy, the 8th installment of An Embroidery Mystery series and as far as I'm concerned, the best one yet;  The author developed some good character, the setting was just right which made the combination of things into a perfect cozy.  Amanda Lee just keeps getting better and better with each book she writes.  The books are always filled with fun, adventure and intrigue.  They never are dull. As you turn each page, the needle keeps you heading for the next. The owner, Marcy Singer, owns The Seven Year Stitch embroidery store in Tallulah Falls.   She has a dog, an Irish wolfhound named Angus who never fails to greet customers and be of help when those mysteries pop up. In this installment the Renaissance Faire is being held in town.  It's a way to promote the small businesses, specialty shops and crafts.    Everything was going well until she finds out her booth will be right in the middle of her two enemies, Nellie and her sister Clara who do not like Marcy.  As Marcy is setting her booth in order, she decides one more time to bury the hatchet with the sisters.  This is not going to end up good.  Marcy walks into Clara's booth and finds Clara dead.  Marcy becomes the prime suspect so along with her friends and boyfriend she has to find out who the read killer is. This mystery will keep you guessing until the end.  What an end it will be.!!!!

I was given a complimentary copy of WICKED STITCH from the author, Amanda Lee and Night Owl Reviews for my view of the book.

I would give this book 4 STARS.
