INTRO

AUTHOR
C.M. Skiera grew up in Michigan and now lives in San Diego with
his wife and two rescue Chihuahuas. He works as a professional
environmental engineer to pay the bills and has been writing since the
mid 1990s. Crimson & Cream is his debut epic fantasy novel. He
started writing Crimson & Cream in 1999, and after lots of twists
and turns, 13 drafts, plenty of rejections, the arrival of the 21st
Century and the advent of online self-publishing, the ebook was
self-published on Amazon.com in August of 2012. C.M. Skiera is currently
finishing Mirrors & Mist, book two of The Oxbow Kingdom Trilogy,

REVIEW
Once again, Mr. Skiera has given us another wonderfully written book. This is the second addition to the Oxbow Kingdom Trilogy, MIRRORS and MIST. This is another voyage into a magical world where the magic and wizardry are afraid of and unlawful. We get to follow Jetsam's life and the orphans. Once again he is in the middle of turmoil and magical webs.
Seryn Vardan is one of the most powerful wizards and the most wanted man in Dwim-Halloe. Fate has taken Jetsam and Seryn and put them in the right place at the wrong time. Seryn is facing a public death after he allowed himself to be captured. Will Jetsam be able to save his mentor? People are changed with time. Will any of the old friends be around to hold a front for the orphans and Seryn? In steps Fate again with a lie that could ruin the very foundations of the magical kingdom. Will the truth set Seryn and Jetsam free or will they become trapped? There is evil lurking at every dark corner in the castle. Will Seryn and Jetsam stay alive long enough to take care of this evil?
The author wrote a book where the reader travels into a world of dark fantasy, emotions and evil fast paced action. Jetsam discovers he is caught up in deceit and danger once again. As the reader turns the pages there is one more twist, one more web of the woven tale to the characters lives. The author gives the reader, adventure, dimensional scenes, sounds you can almost hear, smells you can almost smell and that churning of inner turmoil. This is an addictive and an epic fantasy that anyone that loves great stories of magic will love this book.
