Enough Already (Abingdon, March 2015) Recognize your own outer and inner beauty as defined by God, not the media or others. Most women know that God loves them, but might he love them more if they finally lost that last ten pounds, or got their hair to lay right, or finally found a pair of jeans that looked good and let them breathe? Well, maybe God doesn’t care about jeans, but women do, and all the talk about inner beauty hasn’t kept all of us from staring into a mirror and taking an inventory that never quite measures up. Enough Already will: —Elevate the soul-freeing, spiritual truth that God is the Creator of beauty and that women are called to appreciate and care for themselves as his own. —Enable women to accept God-given beauty so that when they look in the mirror they see his handiwork, not their flaws. —Equip women to win the ugly struggle with beauty once and for all.  REVIEW
Would God love women more if they looked better and breathed better in a pair of jeans?  What about their hair?   Would he love them more if they lost at least 10 pounds.  We all know that God loves us but we all know God doesn't care about all of that, but women sure do.   Everyone says that it's the inner beauty that counts but that doesn't keep us from staring in the mirror.  The author wrote a wonderful, insightful book that will  help free the soul.  Reading it will help with the spiritual truth that God is all beauty and that women are to appreciate and care about themselves as God's own.    The author will help women know that God gave women beauty so that that image in the mirror is to be appreciated and seen as what God has created, not the flaws that women have.   The book will help women win the struggle with loveliness once and for all.  That struggle we go through is down right ugly.  Enough of all of that already. We all feel that we are expected to be beautiful and wonderful, but are we? No.  We may be the most beautiful women there is on earth but she can't be seen in a mirror.  We have a nasty habit of judging ourselves and that just makes the struggle for beauty all the more ugly.

I received a complimentary copy of ENOUGH ALREADY from the author, Barbara Roose and Litfuse Publicity for my view of the book.

I would give this book 4 STARS.
