OVERVIEW OF STORY

From bestselling Soulmate author of the Cassiel Winters Series
"This is certainly a 'STOP EVERYTHING YOU'RE DOING, AND BUY THIS NOVEL' read!"--eReading Addict
Fleur Smithers rarely veers off the straight and (excruciatingly) narrow. So moving to the seaport town of Toulon to live with her newfound biological mother--an inspector with the French National Police--for one year is a pretty major detour.

Son of France's crime royalty family and international rugby star, Louis Messette, is devoted to his sport, famille and nothing else. But the carefree American he meets one night changes everything. She sparks a desire in him like no other. Possession takes root. She will do as he commands.

Bit by bit Fleur slips into the Frenchman's realm of wanton pleasure agreeing to his one condition: that she keep their affair secret. She serves up her heart without

AUTHOR
LesleyYoungThis is the first standalone book in my Crime Royalty Romance Series. The second, The Australian, follows a quirky heroine who sees the world much differently than most of us. Find out what happens when she sets out to find herself a 'life mate' and meets dangerous hotelier Jace Knight.

Lesley Young is an award-winning Canadian journalist by day, and compulsive novelist by night. Her debut novel, Sky’s End (Soulmate Publishing, 2013) hit #9 on Amazon’s sci-fi romance paid best-seller list in its first three months of release. Not too long after that, she started dreaming up quirky heroines who lose their hearts to extremely powerful, imperfect heroes, while on dangerous adventures abroad. She called it the Crime Royalty Romance series, and kicked it off with The Frenchman, which landed her an agent at Spencerhill Associates. Lesley’s never sure who or what will pop up in her imagination next. The Irishman? The Spaniard? The Englishman? She’s taking requests! Stay in touch with her at Facebook.com/LesleyYoungBooks and @LesleyYoungBks. And watch for The Australian launching in April 2015.

REVIEW
This book is the first in the Crime Royalty series,  They are a set of books with lots of suspense, steamy hot scenes and characters you won't forget.  This series is focused on the Frenchman, The American and The Australian.   The setting for the novel is France and it's nice to know the author took an actual country to surround the book.  The author, Ms. Young made the book reality with the French expression, words and conversations.   It's a nice chance to have the two languages being used in the book.  Most books, although based in another country only use English.  Nice change. It's nice to know the author cared enough about her writing to do research into France and their language.  It gives you the aweness of France.

The main character is gave you the feeling that you were right alongside of Fleur.  Maybe a friend?  The reader gets a sense that this could be happening to her, that there were a lot of
things that the two, Fleur and the reader shared.  You get  the feeling that you could actually be the character.  The book, once you start reading it, won't let you go. A heroine that you could believe in,  sexy guys, food that is to die for, a beautiful setting and lots of suspense.    The author didn't just come right out with the crime in the book.  She gave subtle hints slowly and built the suspense up.  As you read the book, you want to figure out the mystery but you're just not sure about how to solve it.  There are a lot of hidden clues that you will never see coming.  A tangled web of suspense.  The relationship between Louis and Fleur is like a hurricane.  Quiet one minute and then the full force is there. Mostly lust, not romance. until Love stepped softly in and made the al the stronger. Louis was a bit of an odd soul.  He had some strange mood swings and behavior.  I didn't get it.  He was a taker, not a giver.  I think he is truly trying to be a better man.
If you are a reader of sexy, I mean wickedly sexy, lustful, romantic and suspenseful books than THE FRENCHMAN will make your heart rush and beat fast.  You may even find a few trickles of sweat on your body.  WICKEDLY SEXY and HOT!

I received a complimentary copy of THE FRENCHMAN from the author, Lesley  Young and Kismet Book Tours for my view of the book.

I would give this book 4 STARS.
