This Way To The Goblin Kingdom!

Steampunk Sorcery

illustrations by
Raven Quinn

The magical tale of a girl named Good who becomes a goblin who becomes a queen!

Becket is  the assistant to New York Times bestselling author Anne Rice, with whom he co-created THE BLOOD VIVCANTI serial. He has a BA in music composition, an MA in Systematic Theology, and an MS in Industrial/Organizational Psychology.   He is also the author of eight books, as well as an instrumental music album.

Raven Quinn is a Los Angeles based singer/songwriter, recording artist and illustrator.  Altough Raven is primarily recognized for her work in music, she has also revealed herself to be a passionate visual artist with a  unique and
whimsical style that is all her own. Her artistic tools of choice are simple: A bic pen, watercolor pencils and her expansive imagination.

Good is a seven-year-old girl who was adopted by absolutely ghastly parents. One night, after wishing on hundreds of shooting stars to become a queen, an elderly ghost appears to grant her wish in the most unexpected way, making her queen of the Goblin Kingdom. Yet what seems like a curse becomes a blessing when she meets seven goblins on their way home.
They lead Queen Good to the Goblin Kingdom, until stopped upon discovering that a mysterious enemy has destroyed their homeland completely. Good must now help her fellow goblins discover who their enemy might be, and in doing so she just might discover who her real friends are, and who she really is—good, queenly, and a little gobliny.

Becket takes the readers on a journey into a magical place with new characters.  The characters have the wonderful charm that we all have come to know and want more of.  We meet Good,  she doesn't fit in.  She wants life to be different.  When she is changed into a Goblin and taken away on a magical journey, she then gets her wish.  The journey takes the reader through magical doorways and through magical lands.  The author gives the reader detailed descriptions, colorful illustrations and creatures that are lovely not only in the author's writing but also in Raven Quinn's beautiful illustrations. I would recommend this book to everyone who wants to go on a magical journey with GOOD THE GOBLIN QUEEN.  This book isn't just for children, but for those young at heart.  I simply loved it, and I'm one of those young at heart.  Grab a copy and first look at the colorful picture on the front cover of GOOD THE GOBLIN QUEEN.  It will take you into turning the pages and going on the journey with her.
I was given a complimentary copy of GOOD THE GOBLIN QUEEN from the author, Becket for my view of the book.

I would give this book 5 STARS.
