midnight, she finds herself with a slew of invitations to visit the Land
of Quail.

REVIEW
Ms. Menge wrote another wonderful book in the Queen Vernita series. The book is designed for the young readers in the middle to later elementary school. It tells about different parts of Mexico around the Caribbean Sea. I loved that the book was divided into months. This way the reader can read a month at a time about Queen Vernita's journeys to different locations. The book is a very good teaching book about people, their culture and the environment in which they live. The author wrote a book about 12 journeys filled with adventure and lessons to be learned. Each journey is one in it's own. The reader will learn so much without realizing it because they are enjoying what they are reading. I would recommend this book to parents, children, grandparents, teachers and just anyone who loves learning while enjoying. This book isn't just for middle schoolers. It's for anyone. I also think the illustrations in the book were very colorful and interesting. There's even a place for the young reader to write his or her name in the book making it theirs.
I received a complimentary copy of QUEEN VERNITA VISITS BAJA QUAIL from the author, Dawn Menge and OutSkirts Press for my view of the book. No other compensation took place.
I would give this book 5 STARS.
