I love Amish books. I have quite a collection of print Amish books. I'm always interested in more and more about the Amish. I'm sorry to say, I didn't find much of a story here. Amish romance usually go into the feelings of what the bride and groom have that on physical desires. I don't have a problem with that. Even though they are Amish, they have the same feelings as anyone else. They mostly keep it under control. I liked Rose and what she went through to finally get to the end. The book just didn't hold a lot of substance. There just wasn't enough to keep you interested in the story. Actually I didn't feel there was a lot of a story. There wasn't a lot of character connect which really makes the book. Their lives, emotions, ups and downs, it just wasn't there. I wish I could do better review wise but it just wasn't there for me.
