REVIEW
The author wrote a wonder storybook that allows children and adults use their imagination. This book is about five forest fables where the reader learns values of thankfulness, forgiveness, humility,, helpfulness and kindness. Along with the wonderful lessons, the illustrations are charming. There are Bible verses where the child and his parents, grandparents can look up and find out how they pertain to the lessons. At the end of each little story there are some questions to help the reader understand what he's read. There are pages where drawings can be done to show what the child has learned. Each story tells of a different kind of tree and how that tree started from a seedling. On the first page is a place f or the little one to write his or her name. That is important to little ones. It makes the book theirs. Their name is in it. The print is large enough for little ones to read without any difficulty. The reader discovers that the trees and life all start from a seedling. A wonderful, clean, Christian book of how the seedlings talk to the trees and learn from them. This is one of the best children's books I have read. It not only has lessons to be learned, but it is fun and interesting. I hope there are more books to come from this author.
I would recommend this book to children and adults to be read over rand over again. To be pt on the bookshelf and bring down occasionally as a reminder of the trees and seedling and what they mean.
I received this complimentary copy of SEEDLINGS from the author, c.d.baker for my honest view of the book. No other compensation took place.
