Don't miss Sarah Sundin's hot-off-the-press novel, In Perfect Time. Publishers Weekly
gives it an enthusiastic thumbs up: “Sundin excels at well-researched
historical detail . . . with such accurate depictions of culture and
setting that we are fully immersed in the times as well as in the story.
The strength of relationships forged in war and the apprehension of God
in times of trouble infuse this well-crafted novel with substance and
light.”

AUTHOR
Sarah Sundin enjoys writing about the drama and romance of the World War II era. The Wings of the Nightingale series (With Every Letter, 2012, On Distant Shores, August 2013, and In Perfect Time, August 2014) follows three World War II flight nurses as they find love, friendship, and peril in the skies and on the shores of the Mediterranean. The Wings of Glory series (A Distant Melody, A Memory Between Us, and Blue Skies Tomorrow) follows three brothers who are B-17 bomber pilots during World War II.
Sundin lives in northern California with her husband, three children, an antisocial cat, and a yellow lab bent on destroying her writing career. When she isn't driving kids to tennis and karate, she works on-call as a hospital pharmacist and teaches Sunday school and women's Bible studies. She belongs to American Christian Fiction Writers, Christian Authors Network, and Advanced Writers and Speakers Association. In 2011 she received the Writer of the Year Award from the Mount Hermon Christian Writers Conference. A Memory Between Us was a finalist in the Inspirational Readers Choice Awards and was featured on Booklist's Top Ten Inspirational Fiction List for 2010.
REVIEW
Lt. Kay Jobson who is a flight nurse.with fiery red hair. She charms and entices men throughout Europe. She is a beautiful woman. She flirts with any and all the men with no desire to be serious. She's out for fun and a good time. When she meets Lt. Roger Cooper, a handsome military man, something about her changes. He made her trust and believe in things that she never ever realized. She believed in them just like he did. She never learned anything a bout the Bible when she was a child. Roger starts to show her the real truth about the Bible. The only thing Roger is really interested in right now is to achieve his dream. He wasn't all that interested in women. When he met Kay, something happened to his heart and he wanted to help her. He understands Kay because he had done some bad, sinful things when he was a child. He can see where she is coming from. As he gets to know her better, he begins to believe she is far worse than he had thought. He decides to do his best to help her turn her life around and find God. I appears the author loves the WWII era. Her writing of this book shows that. Her writing is not just words on paper. They could be actual scenes and characters in front of your eyes. She writes in such a smooth flowing manner that it isn't hard to follow the characters through their daily lives.
The novel is a good stand alone read. The characters from the other books are reunited which adds to the plot of the book but the books can still be stand alones. All the books are good, clean romances with a historic backing. You may want to read the books in series or alone, either way you will enjoy them and want more.
I was given a complimentary copy of IN PERFECT TIME by Sarah Sundin and Litfuse Publicity for my view of the book. No other compensation took place.
I would give this book 5 Stars.
