AUTHOR

Cara C. Putman lives in Indiana with her husband and four children. She’s an attorney and a teacher at her church as well as lecturer at Purdue. She has loved reading and writing from a young age and now realizes it was all training for writing books. She loves bringing history and romance to life.
An honors graduate of the University of Nebraska and George Mason University School of Law, Cara left small town Nebraska and headed to Washington, D.C., to launch her career in public policy.

REVIEW

The author, Cara Putman wrote a fictional story that was so interesting.A novel set in World War II about people who played important parts in the war. SHADOWED BY GRACE is Book One in a wonderful new series of  novels.   These are historical suspense novels that can be read as stand alones. Ms. Putman couldn't have picked a better title for the book than SHADOWED BY GRACE.  The meaning of the story meshes with the title as you read through the book.  Ms. Putman has written with such emotion of war,  romances, and relationships between family members. The author wove everything together so that it meshed just right.  The setting of WWII, the humor, the mystery and the scenes which were so startling real. The times around World War II will leave a lasting memory once you read the book.  Every time you turned the page, you found something that was unexpected.  That keeps you wanting more, wanting to find out what is next. That to me is the sign of a good book. When it leaves you wanting to know more.

I would give this book 4 STARS.
