OH BROTHER! A Nico and Rugger Tale by Kimberly Sentek

                                          5 STARS

Oh Brother!: A Nico and  Tugger Tale by Kimberly Sentek

Illustrated by Eumir Carlo Fernandez

OVERVIEW: From Ms. Sentek's site
Two stories in one–double the reading fun–is what you get in “Oh Brother!: A Nico and Tugger Tale.” In the first of a planned series you will meet Nico, an only dog that likes it that way, and Tugger, the pesky puppy that changes Nico’s life when Tugger is brought home. The book provides both dogs’ versions of the same tale, illustrating that even with these canine brothers there is more than one side to a story.

REVIEW:
The book was wonderful.  I simply loved it.  It's not only enjoyable but is a teaching lesson also.  It's about teaching the little ones about new people or pets, that might be coming to stay in your home.  I thought it was cute how the two dogs became brothers.  The story is so sweet and fun.  You get a glimpse of what sibling rivalry is like from both sides.  It was like two actual little brothers who lived in Jersey.  They took walks together and they both loved corn.  Nico is like a little child that likes to play peek-a-boo and Tugger just likes to lick everything.  The illustrations and the colors were inviting, not only for a small child but for the young at heart. You get two versions of each story, one from Nico and one from Tugger. OH BROTHER! teaches children about rivalries, getting along even if you disagree.  It's simply a marvelous teaching and fun tool for everyone. This is a definite book to put on your child's bookshelf

I received a complimentary copy of OH BROTHER! by the author Kimberly Sentek for this unbiased review.

I would give this book 5 STARS.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Kimberly Sentek has spent her entire life telling stories--so much so that her parents swear she was born talking. A lifelong resident of New Jersey (and a huge fan of Bon Jovi), Kimberly is owned by two cockapoos, Nico and Tugger. Her first book, Oh Brother!: A Nico and Tugger Tale, was inspired by them, and she hopes to continue writing a series of books about her two furry children.
