COURTING CAROLINA
by Janet Chapman

A Spellbound Falls Romance

OVERVIEW (FROM JANETCHAPMAN.COM)

In New York Times bestselling author Janet Chapman’s magical town of Spellbound Falls, anything can happen, even love that defies time itself…

While building a wilderness trail for a new five-star resort in Spellbound Falls, underachieving playboy Alec MacKeage rescues a beautiful woman who is being chased by kidnappers and agrees to let her hide out with him for a few days. But when those days stretch past a week, Alec finds himself fighting his attraction to the mysterious Jane Smith—despite knowing the woman isn’t who she claims to be. Then again, neither is he…

On the run from her own life, Jane is really Carolina Oceanus—and she’ll do anything to avoid the six ancient-minded men her father has brought to Maine to vie for her hand in marriage. But as the maddening competition heats up, Carolina realizes that she’ll have to come clean to Alec, the seductive loner who’s managed to capture her heart…

REVIEW:
The author continues the Spellbound Falls series with Alec MacKeagge, a crossover character from her Pine Creek Series. While she worked on the wilderness trail for the Falls resort, Alec rescues a woman being attacked by two men, She is the daughter of an Atlantis god, Carolina Oceanus. He and  Carolina get close as they take shelter during a storm in the forest. Carolina has grreat competition for her hand.  She finds it rather funny. This is a fun romance in a hard rock series.

The author, Janet Chapman, wrote a  story that you will fall in love with . It will make you feel all warm and happy inside. She can take the everyday ordinary and change it into something totally different.  You feel that the plot is real, that you are there. You will find various characters, sorcerers, single parents, in-laws that might be your out-laws.  The author, Ms. Chapman is amazing and has many talents. Her books are keepers and page turners. This book had a female that had the magic instead of the male. You kind of felt that this was the end. I hope not. I would love another one. The military hero had such earthy ways through the twists and turns of getting in and out of situations. The author left clues for you but I didn't figure it out.  This was a good read. So if you want a little romance, magic and mystery, try this book. It has a little of everything.

I'd give this book 4 stars
