EMAIL EPISODES BY YVONNE PERRY

EMAIL EPISODES by Yvonne Perry goes backstage and shows the loony, co-dependent mom named EXPRESSY as she struggles with teenagers, whom we all know can be impossible. She opens her home and heart to a homeless person, reptiles, and other animals she starts to face that mid-life crisis.  She suddenly realizes she has spent her whole life trying to please others. At what expense?  Hers..EXPRESSY records her daily mishaps in emails to friends and family members who could probably care less.

Her Writing finds the courage to step out of her comfort zone  and her dysfunctionality  and tries to really learn to love herself.. You'll laugh and cry, you'll get inspiration knowing that others are out there just like you.  She is one brave lady. And so are you, the reader.  It just takes some stepping back and laugh at yourself.  She strips away her facade and  simply becomes herself, a human who has her own needs.

The author 'told the story in easy to understand, everyday life language. She was a typical mother, raising her own kids,  her kid's friends, the stray animals, her own animals.   She managed  bravely the mental, emotional, mechanical and just about any other breakdown that can occur inside and outside a house.I loved the character's names,  Birthababy, Suzysunflower and best of all GoofyGordon.

Here was someone whose life (though far from perfect) was never the less full of love, joy, fun, and hope. Expressy took the bull by the horns as if she was on fire.  Her life was far from perfect but so full of laughter, love, understanding, fun and such hope.

This book was such a spirit up lifter. You can't help but smile or laugh, remembering that some of the things Expressy did or said remind you of days ago.  It was hilarious and so well written. Only these outlandish mishaps could  happen in the life of a mother, especially a mother with teens.  This book is a keeper.  You'll want to pull this book off the shelf when those mishaps need an uplifting.  Everyone has to go get this book.  When you're down it will lift you.  You might even get a few pointers from Expressy. I certainly hope there will be another book.  Please.

High Five for a wonderful book.

I give this book 5 STARS?
