MY THOUGHTS
I have been a lover of V.C. Andrews' books for a long time but I was rather disappointed in this one.  I felt that making this a trilogy may have been too much.  It was like a lot of filler to make the third book.  In my opinion it should have just been two books. Just a lot of repetition, not much new.  To me, this wasn't a good believable V.C. Andrews' book.  The books being written by a ghost writer now that V.C. Andrews is deceased are not the quality that we had when she was alive and shortly thereafter.   Perhaps it's time to lay V.C. Andrews' great writing and name to rest and let the ghost writer continue under their own name.  I felt let down.  I want to remember and re-read the good books not this unsatisfying and disappointing writing.  There is nothing there any more and it's sad since V.C. Andrews was one of a kind. Perhaps SHATTERED MEMORIES is a good title.  The memories of V.C. Andrews is being Shattered!  I had a hard time even finishing the book since it just was such a disappointment.  I wanted the excitement, the suspense, the happy and sad time of the realistic writings of Ms. Andrews.  There just wasn't that warm feeling that came from her other books.  I do believe it could have been but the books  being written by the ghost writer are to me, just filler and that is too bad.  If the ghost writer continues to write under V.C. Andrews, bring on the new and exciting!
