MY THOUGHTS
This can be read as a stand alone or in sequence of the series. Marines, their unstoppable hearts, a bit of humor, a bit of sweetness and oh so sexy.  That's what the author gives us in this book. Three guys, Marines, buddies, who went through hell with each other, watching each other's back. But what happens when you find yourself falling for someone that is supposed to be off limits? Wanting someone you shouldn't want, your friend's sister.  A man who has never gone beyond the one night stand is now looking at this one woman differently.  He wants her, really wants her.  She's the world to him. But what is the right thing to do?  The author gives characters that you want to get to know. They aren't perfect, filled with perfections and that's what makes them real to the reader.  The author gives us the 'bro code'. You don't go against your 'bro' your best friend.  But how do you not when his sister, Lia is everything to you?  A bit about a couple of the characters.   Lia:  confident, at least outwardly, has tatts, piercings, in your face a bit, but inside she has some issues.   Past issues that have never been addressed.   She's hurt and is desperately in need of love.  Then we have Max:   Max is a one night stander but never actually loved, never actually satisfied. He has a secret and it concerns Lia.    You can't help but feel your heart warm toward Max as he goes from his one nighters to actually falling in love.  At times the story is amusing, sometimes sad, sometimes so romantic your heart will flitter a bit. This a a romantic read that will grab at your heart strings, your heart may skip a beat and you'll fall for these characters and WANT MORE!  A wonderful romantic read.
