MY THOUGHTS

If you love cozy mysteries and you have read mysteries than you're sure to enjoy this debut. The book is well written and has you leaving each page anticipating more. As the pages turn the tension and suspense grows. As with some books you read a few pages and you start to think, this isn't for me. But with this book you don't have time for that. You want more. Former Chief of Police, Katherine Sullivan is not only intelligent but she cares. She also has a bit of a humorous side. When it comes to business though, she gets right to it. The murder investigation leaves her no times for anything else. The author gives the reader good descriptions and lots of detail. Katherine is one of a kind, grandmother, loves to cook, a go to for good advice and above all, she thrives on solving murders. She does it all and does it good. But this murder investigation is different to Katherine. It involves not only one of the town's most prominent citizens but her very own DAUGHTER! When Katherine starts to investigate, another body appears. What's going on? Murder is an art, a fine art, and it takes a master of sorts to take on that art. Sick as it may sound, it is true! There's a certain art to everything we do.
