About the Author

Molly Jebber enjoys writing stories about Amish history and their culture. She’s a Women’s Christian Connection motivational speaker and enjoys meeting new people. She was raised in a small town in the Midwest, and insists if you had blinked twice, you would've missed it. She loves God, her family and friends, sunshine, swimming and traveling to the Amish communities.  Creating historical Amish characters and throwing them into difficult situations and joyous times has been challenging and fun for her.  The author gives the reader such lovely characters.   It's an Amish romance that will warm your heart. When Anna Plank moves to Berlin, Ohio she soon feels a sense of belonging.   Then another new beginning, her love, Noah Schwartz asks to marry her. She does have a problem with Noah. He seems to want to control her.  He wants to tell her how to arrange the store, what she should do and what she shouldn't.  She never tried to tell him what to do, But Anna is in for a surprise.   Noah wants to travel and live in different communities.  This upsets Anna a lot.  She loves where she lives and she has a job at Grace and Sarah's Dry Goods Store. She is quite happy living in Berlin and doesn't want to leave her mother and sisters.   She has already lost her father.   So when she tells Noah how she feels, he leaves.  It makes you feel so sad because Noah wasn't willing to even listen or possibly find a compromise of some sort.  I know that Amish women usually follow what their husbands want, so perhaps it wasn't meant to be for Noah and Anna. But I feel Noah was acting like a spoiled little boy.   If he truly loved Anna, he would have considered what she wanted too.

But is there another man in the picture?   Daniel Bontrager , a roofer by trade, took over his brother's farm.  Anna has a hard time accepting Daniel's offer of friendship and his attention towards her.  She is still bitten by her first love.   Then things get worse, Noah comes back.    But Daniel and Anna had already passed that friendship line.  What will happen?  Noah decides to confront Daniel.  Suddenly Daniel doesn't come around any more.  Why would he stop seeing the woman he loved unless Noah said something that made him change his mind? Will Noah win Anna back or will Daniel be the one Anna wants as a lifelong husband and friend?

The author shows how Anna had to look to her faith and pray for guidance in what she should do.   Choosing a husband is one thing but when you do you're also choosing to share your life with the one you choose. That's a big commitment.  The author gives the reader, especially if you're in a romance, to think about.    She gives you Englisch and Amish characters that you just fall in love with and want them to be your friends.   A lot of books, I can't get myself to believe in the characters, but the way the author presented this story and the characters, they are so believable.  You can almost picture in your mind, from the author's descriptions, the Dry Goods Store, Anna being sad, Daniel being a strong, good looking, gentle man and then Noah, who I picture as being self centered and a little conniving.  The author gives you so much, sadness, happiness, faith, love, romance and much more.   It's a book of faith and believing in that faith.

I haven't read the first two books but I plan to.  This book three is a stand alone but I would suggest reading the first two books to get some background into Anna and her life.
