MY THOUGHTS

If you are a lover of post-apocalyptic stories than this book will attract your interest.     This book is a story of war and loss.   The author shows how nature can attack with a vengeance.   It shows the reader, that no matter what you come to face, you face it to survive.  It may be hard and you may think the odds are against you but you go on, you have to, step by step to survive.  If you don't, there is no survival.

World War III is about to descend on all of human existence.  But at the same time the author brings out the vengenence of nature and  against an unknown species that is wrecking  hell on the entire world. What will solve this unknown species and help the world gain it's sanity again.  Would a virus that can't be cured help to wipe out what is destroying the world?  This isn't a slow moving problem.  It's spreading fast and with such ease.

The author has given us a possibility, maybe even a probability.  It's scary when you think about it.   What will become of all of us?   Survival of the fittest but  is that truly surviving?
I liked that the author gave us several characters that have survived in an under ground bunker.  Two years they have been isolated from civilization.  Now they slowly begin to come out of their safe place.  What they see is unbelievable.   The war and nature has torn apart everything that was known to them.
They make a plan to go search of family and friends.   What they discover along the way is horrifying.   They had no idea.  Is there even any humanity any more?    There are humans but their little clans are so few and far between.
A lot of these people have had to change, they have had to  embrace the dark, evil side in order to survive.   They have had to resort to murder, taking of slaves, raping and even eating each other. This may seem sick to some but in this post apocalyptic world, it's every day life.   At times there is no choice.  It's do or die.
There are many who won't survive. Some can't and won't revert to the dark side.  Some just don't have it in them.  Their will to survive isn't strong enough.
The author gives you a story that you won't be able to let go.  You can picture yourself as one of those trying to survive.
Don't think in your wildest dreams that everyone will survive.  It's not in the cards.
Can these people survive and re-build their lives or are they doomed to live the dark life forever?
The author didn't sugar coat this story at all.   He brought out the evil and the fear that was all around.
Will the virus eradicate all of humanity or what's left of it?  Will there be enough people left to start rebuilding?   There is that possibility and then again, possibly not?

Grab a copy of this book and you will find yourself glued to the pages.    When you turn a page you're hoping for the best but the best isn't always there.
As you read this book, take it in, all of it and decide if it were to happen tomorrow, could you survive?

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author and voluntarily decided to review it.

I would give this book 5 STARS.
