When Hope Masterson is torn from her comfortable life in St. Louis, she has one way out. Falsely accused of a crime and grieving her murdered father, her only escape is to flee Missouri forever and marry a stranger in Dodge City, Kansas as a mail order bride. All she asks for is a life of peace where she can heal from her heartbreaks, and a decent man entirely unlike the criminal who shattered her world.

Nolan O'Donoghue considers himself a decent man, but he most definitely is a criminal. An outlaw trying to leave his past behind, Nolan's bought a ranch with his ill-gotten gains and all his new life needs now is a pretty little wife to keep the house. Hope isn't at all what he expected when he sought a mail order bride, but for her sake he vows to marry her even so and keep her safe. It might have worked, if his old gang hadn't shown up on his doorstep, needing his help in one last heist.

Now Nolan is torn between a boundless loyalty to his fellow outlaws and the woman he's sworn to care for. Can he break the law and still keep Hope?

The Outlaw's Mail Order Bride series tells the intertwining stories of seven outlaws and the seven virtues they discover through love.

MY THOUGHTS
What a romantic western read.  You'll be hooked the moment you start reading.   You'll fall in love with Hope and Nolan.  Hope Masterson is used to a very nice life in St. Louis.   But she is taken away from this.   She has been accused of the murder of her father.   She is grieving but if she stays she knows she will be tried and convicted.  Who did this and made her to look to be the murderer? The only escape she knows is to leave Missouri and never return.  She goes to Dodge City Kansas as a mail order bride.    This means she will marry a stranger.  What would it be like to marry someone you knew little of?   Then on top of that, to hold a secret like Hope is holding in her heart and mind.     All she wants is someone to love her, give her a life of peace and a chance to heal and to grieve.

This time a definite criminal enters the picture, Nolan O'Donoghue.  He isn't a bad man, even though he is a criminal.  He's just struggling to put the past in the past.   He decides to settle down, so with some of his money, not gotten legally, he buys a ranch.   What's next?   He needs a pretty little thing to take care of him and the house.   So, as was the custom back then, he looks for a mail order bride and finds Hope.   She really isn't what he actually wants but agrees to marry her and keep her safe.  But the whole idea fell apart when......  I won't go into what happened so you can read for yourself.  Will Nolan go back to his criminal ways or will he stay and protect his wife?    Is there any way he can do both?  This is a series of books about seven criminal outlaws and seven things they discover through falling in love.  This is one of those books you curl up with on a cold afternoon and drink a little hot cocoa with marshmallows and get involved in the lives of 7 outlaws and what love can do.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the authors and Insta Freebie and voluntarily decided to review it.

I would give this book 5 STARS.

Genre Romance

A native to Southern Nevada, C.M. Stone found happiness as an adult living a rural life in the frigid northwoods of Wisconsin. She wrote her first book at the age of seven—selling it door to door—and decided then and there that she would never accept any other career. Though she didn’t know it at the time, that first book was romantic suspense. A lifelong love for romance novels set in at an early age, despite the fact that Cee considers herself possibly the least romantic person on earth. Luckily, she fell in love with a man who not only finds her quirks endearing but also happens to be far more romantic. He continues to inspire her on a daily basis and put her head back in the clouds where it belongs. When she’s not writing, Cee is busy wrangling critters and inventing new recipes.
