The Cartel series is back...and more deadly than ever. Las Vegas. A city built on obscene wealth and corrupt deals, cunning entrepreneurs, and the ruthless mob. The Cartel's plan to open a casino will rake in cash, but comes with great sacrifice. The stakes have never been this high, and rules of the game have never been this hard to manipulate. And when one dead girl, one scorned wife, and one hole in the desert launch a chain of catastrophic events, The Cartel is sent on a downward spiral as they battle the Arabian mob and fight traitors within their circle. Will the Cartel prevail...or fall victim to the city's black cloud? And if there's one rule in the town of Vegas, it's that when the dust settles, there can only be one winner, in The Cartel 6: The Demise, by New York Times bestselling authors Ashley & JaQuavis.

MY THOUGHTS

My jaw started dropping as I read page after page.  There aren't words to describe a book like this.  This book is kind of like Clint Eastwood's, The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.  You get it all, not necessarily in that order but it's there.  I kept wondering what Carter felt when he came back for his father's funeral, never knowing his father was head of The Cartel.   Carter was to take over, yet he didn't know that yet.  Why didn't Carter just turn around and walk?   Why did he stay and play the part so well.  Of course he had help from twin brothers, Mecca and Money and Uncle Polo.   He was always thought of as the......his mother had given birth to but just take one look and you can see who's son he really was.
Carter has competition.   The Murder Mamas, headed by Miamor, a bad Brooklyn mama.    But the best laid plans sometimes go sour and this one did.  Miamor ended out for getting even, her sister had died trying to take the Cartel down.   Miamor is ruthless.  She just plain doesn't care.   But things change when she finds out who it was who  put her sister in her grave.  Can Miamor make the decision of getting even against love?
The authors didn't give you a moment to breath.  You're on a roller coaster and it gets faster and faster as the pages turn.    The author puts you in the mix of  The Cartel family, the Diamond family.  They never quit and I mean never.   You'll find the author puts that same idea in the reader's head, never quit reading until the end and then you're wanting more and more.....  The author gives you all the excitement one reader can handle, sex, murder, drugs, evil, love, sex, etc.  I just can't' tell you everything that's in this book.     The author wrote a "street" drama and you don't ever get the chance to read these kind of books very often.  I'm still reeling from reading it. Plots that have twists and turns,  Plots that are woven like spider webs going in all directions..  One fantastic book and the author didn't hold back!  I haven't read the previous books and I plan to now.   I want it all.

I received this complimentary copy of this book from the authors and Night Owl Reviews and voluntarily decided to review it.

I would give this book 4.5 STARS.
