BOOK SUMMARY
(from Amazon)
Just months shy of her claiming at Carrowmore
and fulfilling a centuries-old prophecy, werewolf Ashling Boru has
stepped into her role as the Crimson Queen. She finally has the support
of her pack and her love for Grey is stronger than ever.
But it's not easy being queen. Ashling's guardian, Baran, has been captured by the Dvergars, a family of evil wolves who will stop at nothing to possess Ashling's power and destroy everything--and everyone--she loves. Ashling must unite the clans and build an army to stand against the Dvergars before it's too late. Unfortunately, the Dvergars also have armies of the darkest creatures the world has ever known.
Shadows loom, growing ever larger as generations of pack secrets begin to unfold. Ashling's people, the humans they protect, and Old Mother Earth herself all hang in the balance of Ashling's choices. Will Ashling have to forsake her true love to save the world? And will she have the strength to do it?
Bloodmoon is the thrilling conclusion to the Bloodmark Saga.

REVIEW
Ashling is a strong willed person who says what she means. She doesn't hold anything back. She has been on a mission to keep her loved ones safe, but can she keep everyone safe? No? I have enjoyed traveling with Ashling on her journey through the good and bad. I feel that Grey and her should have quit trying to convince each other that they are in love and will be together. How much convincing do you need? But that's sometimes how it is in life. You're not sure or you're not ready to commit, but sooner or later, you have to decide. I just wish that there wasn't so much constant repeat in the book. I kind of had a hard time believing that Ashling and Grey were really in love. They were so dependent on each other in their need for the love of the physical. What about the actual true love? The love of the mental, emotional person?
With Ashling on the verge of coming of age and becoming Carrowmore's Queen, shouldn't she have been a little more concerned about her relationship with Grey? Don't get me wrong, her strength, her strong will is to be admired. I liked the book, especially the combination of young and old characters. I liked that you were sometimes taken by surprise when you turned the pages. You think, boy, I never saw that coming. I would suggest that you don't over think the book. I have a habit of doing that. You get in your mind to expect certain things from a character and when they don't pan out, you feel let down. I was surprised with the ending. It took everything from the three books and tied them together. I wish there was going to be another book but all good things must end. I would suggest reading the books 1-3 in sequence.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author, in exchange for my unbiased book review.
I would give this book 4 STARS.
