Jason Robinson, a high-school English
teacher, attends his 20th high school reunion, where he connects with
his old girlfriend. The next day she is dead and he is charged with her
murder. He asks attorney Mike Zorich to represent him. Mike feels that

statements. Then some emails emerge that give Jason a motive to commit
murder. The police and the prosecutor are determined to have Jason found
guilty. At the trial for murder in the first degree, shocking events

Just as most criminal defense lawyers, Mike Zorich seems to make it to another day and another case. He lives on the edge, such a fascinating life, personal and professional.
This is the second in the series of Mike Zorich's life in Sacramento.Jason and Lori, both married, had gone to school together plan to attend a 20th high school reunion. Spouses aren't going. Jason and Lori spend most of the weekend together, it ending in passionate sex in her hotel room. When done, Jason leaves and goes to his own room and plans to go home after breakfast. Jason is arrested and charged. With what? Lori's murder.
Jason needs help and calls on Mike, a criminal defense attorney. Sometimes it's best to let the past lay. Here we go from there. As the pages are turned we discover Mike's drinking, his off and on girlfriend, Nancy. One murder slowly leads to three and the twists and turns start. If you are a fan of fiction, especially crime, then you'll like this book.Follow Mike and his investigations in not one murder but three.
