REVIEW
Another book in the international series. It is aimed for children from pre-school to early elementary school children. Actually it's for anyone who is interested in different countries. The books Ms. Roman writes for children are always nice, fun, learning and clean books. The book is 36 pages filled with colorful illustrations and a story of Egypt's capital, Cairo. Egypt is one of the oldest nations and has the second-oldest university. Some of the words are a little hard to pronounce so there is a pronunciation guide at the back of the book. You learn about the culture of Egypt. You learn about the three kings who had built three pyramids. The children who read or are read to will get excited about the different foods and their names. There are favorite games and holidays to be learned about.Your little reader will learn names for father, mother, children's names and
many more. It's like taking a journey to Egypt and not leaving your living room. This is a learning book for children and adults to learn about another land. Ms. Roman has previously written 16 books about other countries along with the Captain No Beard series. Great children's books. She always has a lesson in each book. This is a must to add to the series as an addition to your child's library. This can be read over and over and each time you'll learn something new.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author, Carole P. Roman in exchange for my unbiased view. No other compensation took place.
I would give this book 5 STARS.
