REVIEW
Mr. Irwin has written an enlightening and rather scary book about mass murderers in our country.  Many of these people, I had never even heard of. Others, I recognized through news coverage. The author has written such a detailed description of thirty of the most deadliest mass murders in America from 1949 to 2015.  The book contains some facts about each murderer and the crimes they committed. It seems that most of them suffered from mental illness. Could that possibly come from being raised in broken, abusive homes?   Or do drugs, prescription or street, play a part in these horrific acts?   Could be all of these factors were a part of what made these individuals to make the decision to kill.  Not just one person, which is bad enough but many people.  Some of these murderers appeared to be good citizens until that moment, whatever triggered it, set them off on a killing spree.   Most of them ended up dead after their killing spree.  Some took a bullet to the head, others were killed by police officers. This isn't just a factual story, it's a HORROR story. It's so very alarming to think your day is going wonderful and in the blink of an eye, you're dead or wounded.  This could happen as you're sitting down at your favorite fast food restaurant or at your workplace.  It can happen anywhere, even in your own home.  It's some strong food for thought.  We all need to wake up and take note of our surroundings.  It may save your life.  The author wrote a thought provoking, educational and a horror story that will remain in your mind for a very long time.  I'd like to see another book from this author.  Hope so!
