This is Book Nine in the Cricket Creek series. The heroine is Grace Gordon. When she goes to Cricket Creek she ends up meeting Mason Mayfield who runs a brewery. Mason is Grace's brother's brother in law. Just then the power goes out due to a big storm. They are in the brewery for a while. They talk about each other and family members. The attraction begins but neither have any intention of doing anything about it.
While Grace is in town to help out Mattie, her sister in law, who just had a baby.Grace will be helping with the local restaurant. Mason has a money problem and needs help making the brewery start up big. Since Grace is a millionaire from her cosmetics business and a good marketing genius; she takes on Mason to invest in his business. Will Mason accept her help? Will love enter the lives of Mason and Grace? Will the Grand Opening of the brewery take off?, or will it flop? When Grace gets ready to move on, will Mason convince her to stay or will he let love go? The author wrote a great, fun and romantic novel set in a small town. You get to know the characters and feel like you're a part of Cricket Creek. These books can be read out of order but I think I would have preferred to read them in sequence.
