REVIEW
To start with the cover is lovely.Andrea Carter who is 14 years old loved to ride her palomino, Taffy and not do anything else. In 1882, Circle C ranch was a busy place. There was school and chores to be done. Taffy is getting ready for her first foaling. It almost ends up terrible when the waited event arrived. Andi doesn't have much time when she returns to school. Didn't leave much tie for foal training. On top of that there is a new problem for Andi. She now has a new seatmate, Macy. The girl is far from nice. She is crude and has a cruel isle to her. All she does is put storm clouds in Andi's life. Another thing to add to the storm clouds is the cattle rustlers have come to town. The colts were stolen by the cattle rustler and Andi is hoping she can trust the crude seatmate. The author wrote a book full of adventure and has some lessons to be learned. One lesson was, don't judge a person by appearances. This was an exciting journey with Andi and Macy and learning that the outside looks aren't as important as what's inside. Will Andi and Macy get the precious colts back? Or will the cattle rustlers win?
