REVIEW
This little children's book is so sweet and creatively written about three grandmas who mean well. They are all seeking to be "Best Gift Giving Grandma Around"
and their granddaughter is at the center of their nonsense. Everybody knows that being a grandma is a very important part of a grandchild's life. the problem here is that three grandmas has become rivals trying to spoil their grandchild until disaster strikes. Somehow in all the ado the real gifts that the grandmas could offer but never be bought are forgotten. Maybe this lovely little grandchild can get her grandmas on the right track before the material gifts take over. The best things a grandma can give are hugs and good times together. These gits can't be bought. They are free - no charge. The story is written in rhyme and the colorful illustrations are very entertaining. Will these grandmas "shop till they drop" before they come to their senses.? The author wrote a valuable lesson in this book. The best things in life can't be bought, they're free. I would recommend this book to every parent, child, grandparents and caregivers. It's a wonderful children's book.
I was given a complimentary copy of BATTLE OF THE GRANDMAS from the author, Anthonette Klinkerman for my view of the book.
I give this book 5 STARS.
