A Suitable Replacement

OVERVIEW
(from Amazon)
After three years abroad on an arduous expedition, Maximilian is happy to be home, where he can pursue his private studies in peace and enjoy not living in a dusty tent. He is also glad he has arrived in time to attend his twin sister's wedding in a few months, and to finally meet her fiancé, Kelcey.

Instead he arrives home to be accosted by his sister's furious fiancé, who wants to know where she has run off to and why. When they confirm the wedding is most definitely canceled, Max has no choice but to fulfill the runaway clause in the marriage contract: he must find Kelcey a new spouse.

And if that was not enough to manage, there is also the matter of the people his sister angered when she vanished...

REVIEW
Maximilian is glad to be home after a three year expedition abroad.  At home he can pursue his studies in peace and not have to live in a dusty tent.  In a few months he can attend his twin sister's wedding and to meet Kelcey, her finance.  When he comes home he is threatened by his sister's fiance.  He is mad because he has no idea where she is and why she has run off.  The wedding is definitely cancelled, Max has to fulfill the runaway clause in the contract.  He is to find Kelcey a new spouse.  As if that wasn't enough, his sister angered a lot of people when she vanished.
Where did she go and why?  Did Kelcey have anything to do with  her disappearance?.  The author gives the reader a lot to think about and a lot to try to solve.  Can the reader solve this mystery?  Will Max find a suitable spouse for Kelcey?  Pick up a copy of this well written book with lots of twists and turns that makes the reader turn the pages in hopes of solving the mystery.
You don't need to have read the other books in the series, they're all independent and stand alone, and mostly just share a verse. The book is a funny , interesting, mystery that has a little something for everyone.
I was given a  complimentary copy of A SUITABLE REPLACEMENT from the author Megan Derr and Reading Alley for my view of the book.

I would give this book 4 STARS.
