As most of us know, children aren't good at putting away their clothes and toys. The author wrote a cute and fun little story of not understanding the importance of putting away your things. It doesn't matter if it's cleaning up after supper or putting away your clothes when you go to bed.. The author puts in a lesson that the little boy's daddy is trying to teach him. He tells his son that the Gnomes of the Night will take everything away if the things aren't put away properly. But Daddy doesn't realize how clever Ryan is. He tries to outsmart his daddy. Will Ryan learn a valuable lesson by the end of the story.?
The illustrations done by Fanny Liem put realism to the characters. The colors are bright so that they catch the readers eye quickly. The author tells his story in rhyme which seems to be quite a job to make some of the the rhymes come out right. The book was just charming with a valuable lesson to be learned. Wonderful!
