WHEN I GROW UP
I WANT TO BE...
A NURSE!
Amber's Accidental Journey
by
Wigu Publishing
SUMMARY
(from Wigu)
When Amber gets injured on the soccer field, she is forced to confront
the fears shared by many children—fears of blood, hospitals, and
abandonment. During her treatment, Amber encounters nurses who help her
overcome her fears. By discovering the good work nurses do, Amber
realizes that not only can she return to the soccer field, but she can
also turn to the field of nursing when she grows up—something she never
thought she could do!
REVIEW
I have read most of WHEN I GROW UP books. They are all charming, educational, lovely bright illustrations and with every one there is a possible vocation for little ones to pursue when they grow up. The books give children ideas of what they might possibly want to be. They will realize through the stories that there are so many things out there that a person can do, not only to make a living, but to help others and get a good feeling for doing so. These books written by Wigu Publishing are wonderful children's books and have so much to tell and put in those growing little minds. They are books to be kept on the shelf to be read and re-read. I would recommend this book to teachers, parents, grandparents, babysitters and of course, our budding minds of our children.
I was given a complimentary copy of WHEN I GROW UP I WANT TO BE...A NURSE! from Wigu Publishing for my view of the book.
I would give this book 5 STARS.
