British-American author Petrina Khashoggi lives in Los Angeles with her beloved dog, Humphrey. She writes for newspapers and magazines, and is currently working on a novel and screenplay.

The author wrote a cute little book that has such realistic illustrations. They just pop out at you with the colorful and large enough to see good pictures. The pictures go right along with the story. A big fat rat hollers "I'm Hungry!" He was in the dark Bowling Green Subway. His name was Snatch and Snatch was always hungry. Snatch had two brothers, Snitch and Sketch. Snitch was white and rather small. He had a stutter caused by a front tooth. Snatch was grey. Snatch thought only about eating. Then there was Sketch, the oldest. He was black and wore a patch over one eye. He had a terrible temper.

The three brothers plan to go to the top secret, Operation Bumpkin Birthday. Their mission was to get as much food as they could without getting caught. After they get into the house they find food, food and more food. As they were looking at this big birthday cake, trouble was brewing. The brothers were supposed to get out of the house but Snatch wasn't going anywhere without EATING. The more he ate, the slower he got but he wasn't leaving without the cake. What happened when the birthday boy saw his birthday cake? What did he find int he middle of the cake? Will the two brothers stay with Snatch even though he is constantly getting in trouble? Or will they go off by themselves? Will the threesome become a twosome? What happened to Snatch? Was he caught? Did Snatch ever see his brothers again? Is food more important than family?
