This is the author's first book and hopefully there will be more. The setting is present day Magnolia Springs, Alabama. Good southern reading.
For Hunter, Brian and Camilla the seven years when they were young running around the woods and creeks of coastal Alabama has now come back from memory 14 years later as they encounter some circumstances that are quite forceful.Spanish mobsters were in the area following the rumor that somewhere there is a fabled treasure. Hunter has such determination to get payback for his family. He is out to find the treasure in spite of the mobsters. The author, Lucas R. Wright catches the reader up into the story from the first few pages. He doesn't go off in different directions. The story is focused, which helps the reader stay focused. The author wrote a good, suspenseful story that will hold the reader's attention and interest. Come read this book and help Hunter find the treasure. The journey should be exciting.
