From page one, I couldn't let go of the book. The character, Kit, who was a good person with a terrible, abusive mother. Just when she thought she had her life together, she is caught up in her mother's horrible murder. She is thought of as a suspect. Kit isn't alone. She has friends that support her and so the story starts to progress.
The author wrote the book giving the reader some of the thought and reasons behind what the killer does. You are taken along with his stalking of the next victim. This book starts with the death of Kit's mother but that is just the start. This is a roller coaster ride that has so many ups and downs with all the greed, surprises, lies, murders and so much more. As the author keeps the reader so enthralled with what is going on, you are sitting on the edge of your chair wondering what will happen next. The ending leaves you wanting more and that will come with the next book. For anyone who loves the mixture of murder, suspense, greed, lies and all that goes with it, will relish this book. Whenever you want more when you finish a book, I consider it a good book. You're left with a desire to go on when that next book comes out. FANTASTIC!
