Harvest at Mustang Ridge (Mustang Ridge, #3)

SUMMARY
When former lovers reunite at Mustang Ridge.
Old feelings run wild.

With guest season about to start at the ranch, Krista Skye needs to track down a new head wrangler fast. Unfortunately, the best man for the job is the last person Krista wants to see—Wyatt Webb, the college sweetheart who left her behind. Wyatt has major reservations about working with Krista as well, but he has his own reasons for wanting to stay in town.

Although Krista and Wyatt are all business at first, sparks fly as they work side by side, preparing for an upcoming country fair. Even though rekindling their relationship brings up painful memories, they’re not the same people they used to be—and neither can deny that there’s still something special between them. They have one last opportunity to save a good thing before it’s too late, but one of them will have to find the courage to take a chance on love....

REVIEW
The author, Jesse Hayworth wrote another wonderful book, this time Harvest AT MUSTANG RIDGE which is a story of second chances.
The heroine is Krista Skye, a strong young woman who ramrods the Mustang Ridge guest ranch.
She runs into an old boy friends which she hasn't seen in years. Second chances - Wyatt and Krista start to send those sparks flying. They are now adults instead of the college age when they first met.
The author brought in characters from the previous books and also introduced new characters.  I felt this was  good since it gave new interactions and new scenes. The author gave us a lot of humor which made us smile and laugh.  She also showed how the love holding the Skye family together keeps that family light shining. The author hasn't written anything but pure wonderful books.  They are filled with all the things a reader wants, good plots, love, happy endings and not all good things but the struggles also.Once I got started reading I couldn't let go, just like the other books.  I also liked that this wasn't just a romance novel but a family and how they can work together to keep the family together. The author didn't just write about the hero and the heroine but about the entire family and their growth. If you like second chances, romance, the struggle it takes, dude ranches, cowboys and a sweet, tender story about finding love and getting a second chance, then this book should satisfy your palette. This is the third book in the series and it will definitely go on my shelf next to the others.  Wonderful books to keep and re-read.

I received a complimentary copy of HARVEST AT MUSTANG RIDGE from the author, Jesse Hayworth for my view of the book.  No other compensation took place.

I would give this book 5 STARS.
