An elopement needs to be stopped so a hasty flight across London goes into action. Instead of stopping the elopement, a quick wedding between two strangers.

Harold Rayburn is about to go on the ride of his life.

He had proposed to a beautiful woman who was a little wishy washy and he was knocked down flat. Rejection didn't fit the description. After that fiasco, Harry vows that he is finished with unpredictable women. No more of them. Absolutely not. Until, he meets Leannah Wakefield who is not only lovely but can stand her own. She accidentally kidnaps him on a wild carriage ride.. Leannah would go to the earth's ends to protect her family. She hears of her sister's intended elopement and and heads for London to stop the ceremony before it happens. Her journey has a twist though, a stowaway is found. Not your normal stowaway but this one sets Leanna on fire. Instead of stopping one wedding, she herself ends up in a hasty marriage with a handsome and secretive stranger.

Neither of them are sure that their strong passion can end in a happy marriage. Their hurried nuptials ave brought about jealousy, opposition and suspicion. Another thing that is holding them back is they both hold secrets that can be devastating. The author wrote a strange romance but I as a reader was hoping it would work out. The characters were quite vividly portrayed and it wasn't your usual two people courting for their upcoming vows. It was different and that is something I liked about the book. I also liked the fact that there were friends and family who felt that an elopement may not be the right thing and did everything they could to stop it. A good, well written book with secrets, mystery, suspicion, hasty marriage, romance and much more. Take a couple days and read the book. See how you feel about it.
