Summary: What would you do if you had to face your sins? Leopold Conroy finds himself deep in the woods, being chased by a faceless mob. When he happens upon a cabin tucked deep into the foliage, he's frantic to get inside, to get away from those he managed to stay ahead of. But when the old woman that resides in the cabin invites him in, the mysteries of his life and the reason why he is there begins to unfold.
Disbelieving the stories he's being told and thinking the woman has gone mad from her years in seclusion, he attempts to leave the cabin but finds the mob that chased him are patiently waiting for him and they're something out of a nightmare.
About the Author
Keith Rommel is a native of Long Island, New York and currently lives with his family in Port Saint Lucie, Florida. Keith is an award winning author, is a retail manager, freelance writer and now a novelist.
He's enjoyed collecting comic books since he was a child (a hobby inspired by a teacher in grade school to help overcome a reading comprehension disability) and is a total nerd.
Keith authored the critically acclaimed dark suspense Thanatology Series which includes The Cursed Man, The Lurking Man and The Sinful Man. Keith has dabbled in psychological crime with the fast-paced You Killed My Brother and the soon to be released mythological novel entitled Among The People.
Keith is the co screenplay writer for The Cursed Man movie being filmed in Los Angeles, California as a major motion picture under the same title (and he still doesn't believe it's true - someone slap him!)

REVIEW
At one time or another, we are all going to have to face our sins. Leopold is in the deep woods and is being chased by a mob with no visible face. As he is trying to get away from this faceless group, he comes across a small cabin deep in the woods. All he wants is to get inside and away from the ones who are chasing him. Once the old lady who lives there lets him In, he starts to realize why he is there and what mysteries lie in his life. As the old lady tells him story after story, he begins to think she has gone mad from being alone too long and wants to leave. As he begins to leave, he finds the faceless mob waiting so very patiently for him outside. I believe the faceless mob that is chasing Leopold is his bad deeds and all of his sins. He is running away form the bad things he's done. What he doesn't realize is that you can't run away from what you have already done. You have to face it sooner or later. Leopold finds that this is truly a nightmare. What is he going to do, run or take a stand for his sinful ways?
